  • In 2007, Şekerbank's Corporate Governance performance was rated for the first time.

  • 2024 Corporate Governance Principles Compliance Rating Report (Corporate Governance Score: 9.54) 

  • Şekerbank participated in the Principles for Responsible Banking implemented by the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative (UNEP FI). It is one of 130 banks worldwide participating as founding signatories.
  • The Principles provide the framework for the development of sustainable banking: Compliance, Impact, Goal Setting, Customers, Stakeholders, Governance and Culture, Transparency and Accountability.
  • In addition, it is aimed to harmonize our sector with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement in order to ensure the creation of a sustainable future within the banking sector.
  • By signing the Responsible Banking Principles, Şekerbank states that it puts sustainability at the center of its sustainability activities and strategies.
